Questions people ask
The loan is paid off but no title ever arrived. What now?
That is common. Once a lien is released the title should be issued to you, and when it does not arrive a duplicate is the fix. Bring whatever the lender sent you.
Can I get a duplicate title if the car is not in my name?
Generally no. A duplicate is issued to the registered owner or lienholder. If you bought the vehicle and it was never transferred, the transfer has to be sorted out as part of the same job.
