VYN is a private registration service, not a DMV office. We are licensed by the California DMV as a registration service (Occupational License #82554) and we do the paperwork for you. Government fees are set by the DMV and are separate from our service fee.

Can I request a record for someone else's vehicle?
Only in limited circumstances. Vehicle record access is restricted by law and generally requires a permitted reason and documentation. We will tell you honestly whether your case qualifies.
I moved. Can you update my address?
Yes, updating the address on the registration record is one of the most common requests we handle, and it prevents renewal notices going to your old place.
