Will a report tell me if the car was in an accident?
It shows what was reported to that provider — insurance claims, title brands, and often odometer readings. Damage that was never reported will not appear, which is why a report is one check and not the only one.
Can you check a car I have not bought yet?
Yes, and that is the right time to do it. All we need is the VIN from the listing or the windshield.
